Reviewing the achievements of past winners, these new fashion designers have set up their own retail labels for garments that are exclusively designed with the focus on innovation and marketability.
Chia Wei Choong, a 23 year old, emerged as a victor and received cash prize of S$8,000, a scholarship for fashion degree at Raffles Design Institute and a fashion internship in New York.
Besides, in another event at VivoCity, local designers like MediaCorp's Adrian Pang and Ivy Lee, showcased more than 50 T-shirts that were uniquely designed to suitably express diverse opinions about HIV/AIDS. These T-shirts will be exhibited till the end of this month.
