Participating at ITMA 2007 in Munich was a complete success for the DiloGroup. Dilo took the motto of ITMA “The Place for Innovation” literally and showed three completely new production lines on a floor space of 2.000 m² - the biggest stand in Munich.
A total of 32 machines and components with an overall weight of 300 tonnes were installed and put into operation in a period of only 24 days.
Fibre material was processed during the demonstration times on three production lines HyperLine, Alpha Line and Fiberlofter during the 8 days of the show.
These lines provided focal points for DiloGroup’s complete machinery programme:
1. High performance HyperLine with highest through-put and best web homogeneity for fine fibres and light weight felts,
2. AlphaLine for medium through-put representing a compact and economic solution for universal web forming and consolidation tasks,
3. Fiberlofter Line - an aerodynamic web forming unit designed for voluminous insulation products and automotive moulded parts made of natural and recycled fibres. Products of this kind may be needled from both sides preserving the volume or may be consolidated in a screen-belt oven using low-melt fibres.
A DI-LOUR structuring machine for the production of automotive and light-weight velour was also on display at the show. This machine has a new needle arrangement resulting in better needling at high throughput speeds.
Opening and blending equipment made by DiloTemafa fed all three lines with fibre material. These components were specially designed for increasing throughput in the opening and weighing process and for fine dosing of the fibre flow to the card feeders.
The high performance line HyperLine included a totally new card feeding system, VentoFeed, characterized by continuous feeding even at high throughput speeds for short fine fibres as well as for longer and coarser fibres.
Dilo used this opportunity to show its crosslapper programme –HyperLayer and Dilo-Layer - for the first time. The HyperLayer crosslapper is characterized by web infeed speeds of up to 200 m/min.
These infeed speeds of a crosslaper along with highest layering precision resulting in straight web edges and precise overlapping are at the moment only realized by our HyperLayer.
The elimination of former bottlenecks in crosslapper speed and web quality has made crosslapping attractive again as a web forming process.
New standards for high speed preneedling are set by the Hyperpunch preneedling technique using a DBF batt feeding system and EPMC Hyperpunch technology.
