The unmistakeable spirit of the Taiana Vanity collections is encapsulated in a creative and ironic approach to the world of women. The refined look for Fall/Winter 08 09 can be broken down into three macro areas. Androgynous, simple, with understated prints, weaves and micro weaves, shiny/matt effects, geometric motifs.
Mirrors of water, fabrics with wide-ranging applications but with the same shine, and reinterpreted with metallic coatings and sprinkles of glitter that reduce the scenic impact to the minimum.
Neo-Baroque, instead, has been used for evocative images of travels, variable geometries and an exasperated search for detail.
For the womenswear fabrics, the themes are certainly Poema and Farina. The first is the result of an extenuating work on details and the pursuit of total quality for a metropolitan look with an exalted style. The second, Farina, is a three-dimensional fabric with motifs and is sometimes almost chiselled, scratched. For the waterproof range designed for outerwear, Sodio is a microfibre immerged in a wax solution with an oilskin effect for jackets, trench coats and short jackets.
Because Taiana Vanity collections are a veritable celebration of taste and balanced weights, of creative enthusiasm and a deep knowledge of the value of details. Measured, delicate and precious to make the difference.
Sometimes invisible, imperceptible, sometimes loud, they contribute to, and are a determining factor in the overall harmony for an understated and balanced elegance.
