The Brazilian companies that participated in the latest edition of the Italian fair, Pitti Bimbo, through the Texbrasil Program – Strategic Program for the Brazilian Textile Chain, created by ABIT – Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association in partnership with APEX-Brasil -Trade and Investment Promotion Agency achieved good results at the event, making nearly 600 contacts from 13 countries.
With different colors and quality raw materials, some unusual, such as the organic cotton, the country’s companies demonstrated that fashion is indeed for children.
The idea of the organic cotton comes from YOU a child’s brand that will launch the new product in the winter of 2008. The line will be exclusively for babies, in pure cotton, grown without the use of any agrotoxins and following the necessary standards to receive the "organic" seal.
The brand introduces atemporal creations with pieces where the freedom of movement and subtle details are always present.
YOU’s differential is the attempt at recovering personal values such as the need for more attention from parents to dedicate more time to children and develop family activities.
At PUC Hering group’s children’s brand, the collection’s colorful clothes are the highlight. According to company director, Ulrich Kuhn, this “Brazilianness” contrasts with the more serious European fashion design making the Brazilian children’s fashion a segment with great growth potential.
