21st Century Leaders Foundation and its Whatever It Takes campaign are proud to announce a licensing partnership with the Wildcat Apparel Group Inc (Wildcat Apparel), the company responsible for the success of the Retro Sport brand, to benefit charitable organizations across the globe.
To date, the Whatever it Takes licensing campaign has raised over $1,000,000 to create and sustain charitable projects that tackle key global development issues including poverty alleviation, environmental conservation and the protection of children.
21st Century Leaders Foundation has gathered artworks from an extraordinary group of over 600 celebrated leaders, including each artists’ signed “message of hope” for the future. Wildcat Apparel will reproduce the celebrity artist’s original artwork, beginning with a men’s and women’s t-shirt collection available Holiday 2007 at better deparent stores, boutiques and specialty stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
This will be the first time that such apparel will be available in the U.S. The Whatever it Takes sportswear collection features the latest techniques in garment dyeing and softening in order to create the most comfortable lifestyle collection. Wildcat Apparel’s Whatever It Takes branded products are manufactured under ethical working conditions in Los Angeles, California USA.
Wildcat Apparel will launch its collection by featuring the individually customized artworks of:
George Clooney, NicoleKidman, Gwen Stefani, Donna Karan, Heidi Klum, Charlize Theron, Coldplay, Christopher & Dana Reeve, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Joss Stone, Liam Neeson, Lucy Liu, Ozzy Osbourne, Billie Joe (Green Day), Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), Slash, Snoop Dogg, Suggs (Madness), Susan Sarandon, Minnie Driver, Samuel L Jackson, and Stella McCartney.

“The success of Whatever It Takes in the U.K. has been truly remarkable, and I’m certain that this creative charitable fundraising project will be equally well received in the U.S. It’s as simple as buying a t-shirt,” said Charlotte di Vita MBE, Founder of 21st Century Leaders Foundation. “People can often feel overwhelmed when faced with the desire to make a difference, knowing that there are so many individuals in need, but it’s the simplicity of this endeavor that makes it so appealing.”
The Whatever It Takes collection by Wildcat Apparel will raise a minimum of $140,000, generated from $2.31 per item sold. “This is one of the most extraordinary projects I have seen in the apparel industry,” said Marc Herman, CEO and Co-founder, Wildcat Apparel. “We are very proud to participate in the Whatever It Takes project and believe that the original artwork created by each celebrity has the power to inspire people to become more socially active.”
