Pastel ivory, yellow and dramatic black in knits, cotton Chanderi and georgette was the basis of Manish Gupta’s utterly feminine collection with amazing texturing of fabrics for a line of short dresses. Selecting just tonal embellishments with cotton tape, pin tucks and a hint of glitter, the sharply cut ensembles were a delight to behold. Empire and princess line silhouettes, smart shifts and the finale of two black dresses - one with layered pleated glitter and the other a flared princess line number with tonal embroidery were the highlight of the show.
