Recreating the beauty of the Uzbek costumes, Preeti Chandra's collection was inspired by East European textiles and tapestries, which were reflected in the prints and embellishments. Fashionable Boho chic ensembles had bold prints and patch work, along with tribal beading and ethnic patterns.
The lovely draped dresses, the peasant inspired blouses, the flowing gowns, bold black mini with multi-coloured silk rose embroidery on neck and hemline, were a beautiful mix of style and elegance. Layering, tassels and flowing scarves were perfect additions. It was a lovely Spring/ Summer 2009 collection for women who want to dress in garments that have a great fusion influence.
