Faisalabad has potential to double the export figure.
Faisalabad Garment City Company was registered with the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Companies Ordinance 1984 on 8th May, 2006. Faisalabad Garment City Project is under construction at the area of 40 Acres in Value Addition City, 1.5 K.M Khurrianwala-Sahianwala Road. One building of International Standards of 6 floors (224213 Sft) with all external infrastructure development is near to be completed in December 2008.
The purpose of the project is to reduce the capital outlay of the investors and provide fully complaint state of the art facilities at prevalent market rate. It will attract foreign investors who would prefer to rent state of the art manufacturing factory space rather than invest their capital in land, utilities and construction, to provide facilities and necessary infrastructure to the textile sector with a view to enhance the export of value added garments, made ups and accessories to international markets.
A potential foreign investor/entrepreneur can move in very quickly and start manufacturing. It will increase the proportion of value added products in textile exports; maximize the value of Pakistan’s cotton resources. It can attract foreign investment. It will generate employment opportunities, especially for women. It will be economical and commercially viable with provided facilities.
The project will also result in higher per capita productivity and reduced wastage because of the in-house training and laboratory testing facilities provided by the Project, Technical know how and latest technologies, Entrepreneurial development programs, Quality awareness programs etc.
Sh. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman/CEO and Board of Directors of Faisalabad garment City Company desired that you may kindly market the Project to the foreign investors, with the request to establish their factories in the Garment City Project. Furthermore there is special incentive for the foreign investors. Faisalabad Garment city Company will feel honor to attend any inquiry regarding this Project.
