Defective solar water heaters

ABOUT 40 percent of solar water heaters went on strike in winter, according to a national survey conducted by 25 consumer rights authorities including Shenzhen Consumer Council.

Authorities advised consumers to choose branded products and not just focus on a heater s capacity.
