Guzhen intends to build a LED CITY

At the very beginning of 2010, Guzhen claimed to build a world-famous LED CITY and formed a new industrial group, and thus lead a new trend of development of low-carbon economy.

China Red LED lights of Huayi Goup was used by the Bird's Nest of Beijing Olympic. Another enterprise, Opple, which is the first private enterprise in Guangdong that exhibited in Shanghai Expo, also received orders by leaps and bounds. Guzhen Town also set up new energy resource department to study the further development of LED and solar energy.

According to the statistics, the output value of Guangdong LED lighting devices as well as industries in the chain will top 80 billion yuan in 2015 and the Pearl River Delta Region will become a world-famous center of LED lighting industries. So Guzhen has set up its goal that LED and solar lighting will reach 20 billion yuan in 2012 and that Guzhen will make a world-famous LED CITY.
