Knockoff phones
THE Shenzhen Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau last week seized 47 knockoff mobile phones in a warehouse in Futian Free Trade Zone, the bureau said yesterday.
The haul is a result of an continuing campaign to crack down on pirated and knockoff products.
Billboard injures 2
TWO men were injured when an advertising billboard fell from the exterior wall of a building in Longgang District on Sunday.
One of the victims, an elderly man in his 70s, sustained head and back injuries. The other victim, 18, received 20 stitches to a head injury.
The two men were buying breakfast at a restaurant in Sanlian Village when the incident happened at about 9:45 a.m., a witness said.
