A MAN was caught Tuesday after dumping rotting garbage at Metro stations over the course of a week.
The man, identified by his surname Wu, dumped rotting fish at exit A of Kexueguan Station on Dec. 20. The stench drove Metro passengers away.
A note left with the garbage indicated a real estate developer was responsible and bore the developer s address and contact number.
After it was reported to the Gongjiao Police Station on Dec. 20, rotting garbage was dumped each day respectively at Xiangmihu, Zhuzilin, Huaqianglu, Guomao, Fumin, Gouwugongyuan and Gangxia stations until Monday.
Wu admitted responsibility.
