BUSINESSES in Shenzhen can now go online to complete name registration procedures.
The city market supervision administration had approved downloading business name certification from the administration s Web site at www.szscjg.gov.cn.
Procedures like opening an account, obtaining registered capital assessment and applying for a business licence can now all be done using an electronic ID card.
The new system puts an end to a situation in which enterprises had to visit the eight subbureaus of the market supervision administration to complete these procedures.
Registered business name certificates can be verified on the administration s Web site.
Businesses can also log on to the Web site to have their names approved, changed or canceled. (Li Hao)
