A WOMAN in Longgang has complained that a neighbor living upstairs had illegally changed the structure of his apartment and caused a water leak.
The woman, identified as Wang, lives in a villa in the Dashandi Villa area in Longgang District. She claimed her neighbor on the third and fourth floors had illegally added more rooms that changed the structure of the villa. Wang claimed the walls had cracked and water was leaking through the ceiling.
She complained to the management and the subdistrict law enforcement unit, but only a weather shade had been removed. Wang claimed she had to move because the villa was dangerous.
The neighbor, identified as Li, insisted he was the victim.
She expanded the base of the villa and demolished a supporting wall, he said. We need a third-party assessment of the damage to Wang s apartment. (Han Ximin)
