Workers found a 3-meter python hibernating when they were digging at a construction site in Henggang in Longgang District on Monday.
The snake, which weighed 25kg, died as it attempted to escape. The city s wildlife protection administration said it would become a specimen for the popular science museum of the administration which will open soon. Wan Dong
