Tiger Hunt continues
A DRIVER was detained in Nanshan District for drunk driving after a blood test showed his blood-alcohol content was 439 milligrams per 100 milliliters, 8 times the legal limit, police said Wednesday. In two hours, police detained 13 drivers for drunk driving and 40 drivers had their licenses suspended for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Economists forum
THE Second Chinese 50 Economists Forum would be held Sunday at the Sheraton Hotel in Futian CBD, the organizer said. Established in 1998, the Beijing-based 50 Forum is a nongovernment think tank of renowned economists.
Green way
YANTIAN will build a 15-kilometer community green way and 25-kilometer mountain road for hikers this year. This would extend the total length of green way in the district to more than 100 kilometers.
