SHENZHEN S temperatures will drop slightly and humidity will reduce as a cold front begins to reach the city today.
The minimum temperature will drop to 13 degrees Celsius tomorrow and for the whole week temperatures will range between 13 and 23 degrees Celsius, the meteorological observatory said.
The cold front is expected to bring light rain and end the humid weather and fog which reduced visibility to 100 meters on recent mornings.
The city experienced its heaviest fog this year Sunday with visibility down to 100 meters. In the early morning, visibility was reduced to 2 meters in the Wutong Mountain area. The relative humidity ranged between 72 percent and 96 percent.
The heavy fog delayed more than 100 flights, and caused the cancellation of dozens in Shenzhen on Sunday.
The city s traffic was not affected by the heavy fog, but the sales of driers and heaters slightly increased. The observatory said the humidity would probably return next week as the air became warmer.
