Dong Weiting (L), director of the Shenzhen Shoucai Love Charity Foundation, presents a check for 240,000 yuan (US$36,364) to Lu Hongyan, vice director of the China Charity Federation in Shenzhen yesterday. The donation will be spent on medical treatment for 16 children from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region who have heart diseases. The children from poor families are being treated in Beijing.
