Tax rebate
THE Shenzhen Municipal Office of the State Administration of Taxation had returned 73.4 billion yuan (US$11 billion) in rebates to exporters in 2010, an increase of 40 percent over 2009, a meeting was told Tuesday.
City tax revenue was also a record 195.5 billion yuan in 2010, an increase of 24 percent year on year.

THE Shenzhen transport authority has introduced a mobile inspection system to check vehicles involved in illegal trade.
With the system installed on mobile phones, transport inspectors can check the information of vehicles involved in cargo and passenger services. Vehicles such as taxis and buses involved in illegal services can be easily identified.
