After being titled ‘Production Base of Geotextiles’ several years ago, Lining County of Shandong Province has now become the biggest geotextile production base in China.
Now, Lining county owns over 130 enterprises specializing in the geotextiles and related industries, including renowned manufacturers Hongxiang Group and Zhonglian New Material Science and Technological Co. Ltd.
Experts believe that the key reason for this success is the strong support from the local Government.
Reportedly, the administration not only helps the local geotextiles enterprises through favourable policies, but also provides funds and encourages participation in all kinds of technical meetings and expositions.
According to the statistics, the Lining geotextiles account for 40 percent of the market-share in China. These products are also exported to many countries like Mexico, France, Germany and the US.
