Shoe and Garment companies in the city of Jinjiang and Minnan areas have rapid development through franchising, with thousands of stores all over the country. As traditional distribution channels, these stores make contributions to the sales of the companies, while they also bears tremendous pressure of management. Being the late-comers of the domestic sales market, many garment enterprises of foreign trade have realised that the cost of building franchised store as the distribution channels from the very beginning will be several times that of the industry pioneer, and a network of large-scale franchised stores can not be formed in a short period of time.
Since the nonstore retailing mode of PPG works well, marketing specialists have the opinion that nonstore retailing may be a beneficial attempt for trade companies and traditional shoe and garment companies to open the domestic market.
When the nonstore retailing mode adopted, there are several problems that should be taken care of by the companies, like differential positioning and selling items in franchised-store and nonstore retailing, and getting to know the operating mode of nonstore retailing.
