The average price of the 100-percent cotton carded 32-count yarn is now 19,750 yuan per ton in the Jiangsu yarn markets, which represents a 20-yuan per ton increase. The average price of 100-percent cotton carded 40-count yarn is 20,710 yuan per ton, an increase of 50 to 60 yuan per ton. The average price of 100-percent cotton combed yarn is 23,550 yuan per ton, which also represents a 50 to 60 yuan per ton increase. Due to the sharp jump in production costs, these increases only have a small impact on profit margins.
