Recently, many companies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, including apparel enterprises, have paid visits to Sihanoukville Special Economy Zone. Preliminary research has been conducted on the details such as the water and power project infrastructure, special requirements on the environment requested by textile dyeing and printing industry and the tax regulations in Cambodia. Because of international antidumping regulations and the increasing labour cost, Jiangsu and Zhejiang companies decide to "go abroad" and the first option is Southeast Asia.
