Journalist from Apparel Times reported that Italian fashion retailer Benetton Group SpA has closed its Beijing office at the end of 2007. In fact, the location of its world largest flagship store in Shanghai has also been displaced by Swedish fashion retailer H&M in December, 2006.
Benetton entered into Chinese market and opened the world largest flagship store in Shanghai in 2002, and its Beijing office was established in 2005. However, at the end of 2006, its flagship on Huaihai Street, the golden location in Shanghai, has got closed with announced reason of in-company adjustment. Unfortunately, its Beijing office suffered the same fate one year later.
