The first representative meeting of CCIC (China Chamber of International Commerce) was been hold at Beijin “Great Hall of People” on Dec, 24th. Vice Premier Wu Yi attended the meeting and delivered an important speech, Gu Xiulian, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee attended the celebration banquet and made a speech.
The leadership were been elected on the meeting. Wan Jifei, chairman of CCPIT was elected as the chairman of CCIC, Qiu Jibao, president of Feiyue group elected as vice chairman together with the leaders of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Sinochem Corporation, COFCO Limited, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co LTD, Export-Import Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Band of China, etc. Meanwhile, Feiyue group was elected as “Unit of Vice Chairman”.
CCIC have important influence among the international busniess circle. It has built wide range business and trade relationship with the industrial and commercial enterprise from more than 200 countries and regions recently and have signed contract of cooperation with nearly 160 relative organizations.
“To be vice chairman of the CCIC means not only honor, but also responsibility to me. I would bear in mind of my mission, faithful to my duty, play our advantage to contribute more for the development of CCIC, so as live up to the expectation of the leaders of all level and trust of representative.
