Consumer market booming in China

Consumer market booming in China

Apparel manufacturers in China are benefiting from rising wealth at home that is currently pushing the growth in retail sales at its fastest pace in more than three years. Consumer goods companies throughout the nation have raised $5 billion from the sales of Hong Kong shares this year according to recent information released by Bloomberg News.

This is one of the reasons why the China Chamber of Commerce of Importers and Exporters of Textiles (CCCT) continues to support Prime Source Forum (PSF) 2008 and is currently organising a Chinese delegation that will attend the Forum next March/April. In 2008, the Chinese group, which will comprise domestic apparel brands, importers and exporters, is expected to be even larger than the group that attended the PSF in March 2007.

To meet these delegates and the other senior executives from some 30 nations and regions, mark the dates 31 March - 2 April 2008 in your diary AND download the registration leaflet here. Do NOT miss the early bird deadline of 31 October 2007.

The fervent response of our sponsors underlines the fact that PSF has become an annual 'must-attend' event for senior executives in the apparel industry around the world. Some 400 delegates are expected to participate in the next forum.

Newly confirmed sponsors include Avery Dennison and Clariant, who join Pantone, Bureau Veritas, Dystar, SBS and House of Pearl Fashion. More will sign up in the coming month.
