At the same time, China’s high quality textile materials such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen, as well as highly efficient production capacity, match Taiwan’s needs for raw materials, labor and markets.
Joining the two sides together can only create synergetic success for the textile industry in both China and Taiwan.
Since 2001, representatives from China’s textile industry have attended TITAS through Cross-Strait Textile Fair.
In 2006, more than 20 high quality manufacturers from Shantung, Liaoning, Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Hanzhou, Shaoxing, Shishi, Quanzhou, and Guanzhou attended in more than 130 people from more than 10 delegations.
To promote TITAS in China this year, the Secretary General of TTF, Mr. Justin Huang personally visited the important textile related associations to invite delegations and received very positive feedback.
Several organizations had decided to visit or purchase as the result, including China Textile and Apparel Council, China National Garment Association, China Chamber of Commerce for Importers and Exporters of Textiles, China Textile Commerce Association, Beijing Textile Holdings Company, Qingdao Textile Corporation, Double Star Group, Cherry Group, Qingdao Jifa Group, Guandong Province Textile Association, and Guanzhou Textile Industry Group.
Also, textile-related professional associations from Shanghai, Nanjing, Shaoxing, Hanzhou, Quanzhou, Shishi, and more will be organizing delegations to attend the events of TITAS.
