Du Yuzhou, President of China Textile Industry Association (CTIA), held a meeting in Beijing on August 27 with EU textile Union delegates representing Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and Spain.
The two sides exchanged views regarding protection of intellectual property rights, environmental policy, health care, industrial and trade policies.
Du Yuzhou signed four Memorundum of Understanding with the visiting countries. ‘Sino-French MoU on intellectual property’, ‘memorandum of cooperation between China Textile Industry Association and the Swiss Textile Association’, ‘Sino-Switzerland MoU on IPR protection’, and ‘MoU on environmental policy and medical fields between China Textile Industry Association and German Textile and Clothing Industry Association’.

The President said that with the arrival of post-quota regime, world textile industry would form a new pattern of transnational allocation and resources. This integration of textile markets would help reduce production and transaction costs for enterprises.
Textile enterprises in various countries and regions would achieve win-win situation and mutual development through construction of transnational industrial chains.
