China : Brazil seizes fake brand merchandize worth millions

Recently, the judiciary of Brazil St. Paul suddenly confiscated the wholesales market of Chinese clothing, located at Street 25 of the shopping center.
In all 48 Chinese dealers were seized under allegation of trading in fake famous brands’ clothing.
Reportedly, fake clothing merchandise worth millions of US dollars was captured.
Meanwhile, six sellers were taken into custody for destroying the public property, disrespecting the policemen and so on.
Chinese Consulate-General in St.Paul immediately negotiated with local police and a representative of wholesalers went into the shopping center to observe the confiscation process.
After this incident, Consulate appealed once again that local retailers stay on the right side of the law in order to avoid the economic loss, and build positive image of China.
