The news from Zhenjiang Inspection & Quarantine Bureau shows that they have received the declaration for 9398 batches of textile products, over 48million pieces of garments, total value reaching 0.2089billion Dollars
Zhenjiang garment including trousers, children’s wear, shirt, jeans etc are mainly distributed to Japan, US, Canada and EU, part to China Hong Kong, South-America, South-Korea, East-Europe etc. The export amount and export value are increased by 13%.
The inners argued that since entering into WTO, China textile industry got more development chance, but still restricted by some trade salvo—trade protection, anti-dumping.In addition, the rising material price, increasing garment enterprises and the increasing labor cost etc are the hindrance for textile export. Therefore, scientific management, production innovation and product quality class—upgrading are the must-have factors to garment exporters tending to improve its own competitiveness in international market.
