Xinjiang will build textile manufacture base

Xinjiang ten departments including Xinjiang Municipality promulgated <> that draw a blueprint of Xinjiang's transformation from cotton manufacture base to textile industry base.

<> claims that it will take five-ten years to develop Xinjiang into China main manufacture base of textile material & semi-finished product, important textile material & textile terminal market and build big-scale industries involved silk, garment, knitting,printing etc.

Till 2010, Xinjiang textile industry is expected to own throughout of 5000-10000ton carding wool, woolen top, 6million meters spinning fabric.
