The cotton export in ivory seacoast is decreased

During first months of 2006, cotton export in ivory seacoast reaches 138.162ton, decreased by 54117ton, down by 28% compared with the same period of last year.

The export in Nov. reaches 8154ton, lower than the one the same period of last year 16848tons.

Due to the low stock price, high fertilizer price, inconvenient transportation , Northern cotton planting area being occupied by traitors in 2002, the output of cotton decreased greatly.

The season for cotton is from February-May while the summit for cotton is from Nov.-Dec.
