According to the latest data published by the French government, nearly 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises have already set up offices in China. Consequently, those enterprises have an annual turnover of 14 billion euros, over twice of the French exports to China.
On October 28, the French Foreign Trade Minister La Garde went to visit Shanghai, and presented the first award for medium and small-sized enterprises which invest in China. 2006 investment award goes to Asia Inspection, which is responsible for product quality testing and audits of factories around the Asian countries.
