China International Fashion Week 2007 Spring/Summer Collection show will be held in Beijing on November 15, the one-week-long fashion pageant consists of six series, more than 60 special events.
More than 500 professional models will display 3000-odd creations of 35 fashion designers and 34 fashion brands from China, Russia, Japan, Italy, and France. There are also five fashion design & face-painting contests and two unique creative fashion and face-painting shows from famous colleges.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Fashion Week, after baptism of 310 fashion shows, 34 professional contests and 9 awarding ceremonies, with the participation of over 170 Chinese and foreign designers, plus more than 200 foreign brands, the China International Fashion Week has developed into an integrated service platform for brand display, cultural exchanges and cooperation with public dissemination of information, surely, it has become fashionable focus of world media and the industry.
It is also reported that Russian brand fashion show will be introduced for the first time this year.
