Ningbo is the birthplace of modern clothing, it is famouse of the "Hongbang tailoring", and it is also the birthplace of China's first Zhongshan suit and western-style suit. Today, it is the city with most well-known clothing brands in China, meanwhile, it is China's largest production base for clothing, and China's largest exports city of textile and garment products.
In recent years, Ningbo has worked out a "Ningbo development model", that is "brand product--brand enterprise--brand industry--brand economy--brand city". Brand is an important element in the development of Ningbo city.
