The measures have been released to prevent illegal promotional activities done by retailers. However, it is found that many retailers in Beijing have stuck to non-standard promotional activities and moreover, they were not familiar with these new regulations.
In Juntai supermarket, a huge poster says that the discount is 30 percent for autumn clothes. Many promotional activities in Juntai supermarket have disobeyed the new regulation.
However, most famous brands like Nike, adidas have not joined these promotional actions, only some old styles can be bought at discount prices.
