At present, Mexico government announced that since August.20, 2006, Mexico government will adopt new label code for textile and fashion, which is applied to fashion, accessory, textile and home textile accounting for over 50% of total products. The specification of this rule is that all garments must be attached one permanent & clear label on collar, waist while the label should indicate follow information: first, brand name, second, the fiber content according to Mexico standard MX-A-099-1995-INTEX; third, size; forth, maintain explain according to Mexico standard NMX-A-240-INNTEX-2004; Fifth, original production country; sixth, for natural person, the name and address of manufacturer and importers; for legal unit, name and address of manufacture enterprise and import company.
The label for home textile must indicate above information. Bedspread, blanket, bedspread, coverlet, spread, mat, napkin, curtain, towel, mattress and mattress base made up of or packed by textile must paste this permanent label.
