Chinese cotton industry is facing a new competition pattern due to its faster pace of opening-up in 2006. Under the uncertainties of on-going world trade frictions as well as the gradual appreciation of RMB, the textile industry brings about stronger impact upon cotton industry. Moreover, the lagging business ideas and management of cotton marketing organizations also keep the industry from achieving a faster development. All these have become the primary concerns of Chinese cotton industry.
