Chinese cotton industry is facing a new competition pattern due to its faster pace of opening-up in 2006. Under the uncertainties of on-going world trade frictions as well as the gradual appreciation of RMB, the textile industry brings about stronger impact upon cotton industry. Moreover, the lagging business ideas and management of cotton marketing organizations also keep the industry from achieving a faster development. All these have become the primary concerns of Chinese cotton industry. In face of such a situation, CNCRC and CCCT plan to jointly hold an international cotton forum which will be widely participated by all cotton-related industry. The meeting will take a deep look into the trend of Chinese cotton and textile industry in 2007 and make extensive discussion and in-depth analysis about the major concern of the industry. The discussion will focus on exploring new cotton marketing strategies and advanced management for the new market environment. The meeting will be a good opportunity for participants to promote advanced business strategies and exchange ideas with each other.
