The overseas dispatches report that in this first quarter, Tailand textile & fashion export is rising, including the export to US and EU. US are the biggest export market of Tailand. In first quarter, Tailand export to US reach$ 0.5232billion, increased by 12.3% compared with the same period in last year, the one to EU $0.3263billion, increased by 15.1% .
This year, Tailand unsteady politics circumstance influence the fashion export, however, in first quarter, the fashion export to US especially the export of the category with quota in China increase speedly. For example, the export of woman's cotton knitting shirt (339) and cotton underwear (352) is increased by 49.1% and 21.93% separately; US suspect that the restricted China textile may be transported to US. In the near future, US will send one checking team that will investigate the China's restricted products suspected to be transported.
