Some famous brand sports wear such as Lining, Anta, 361 are sold at about RMB200-300 , especially specific new style footwear even at over RMB400, similar with overseas brand. Besides, few low price sports footwear at over RMB100 price can been seen as previous years, major are the old style ones.

One expert identify that the price of inland brand sports footwear is higher about 10%-15% than last year and increased high level products instead of decreased low-price ones at over RMB100. One principle of sports footwear franchised store Mr.Gao show that this year, low-level sports footwear is at 170-220, increase RMB20 than the one in the same period of last year. In addition, the sports footwear in this level account for 15% of total sports footwear, down over 50% compared with the same period of last year while high-level sports footwear at over RMB 400 is increased from 5% to 10%. In other brand sports footwear apparel Shoppe, store manager Mr. Wang says that there are only two style sports footwear at less than RMB 200, other several style sports wear at about RMB290Yuan is sold at about RMB320yuan.

Some experts show that the advancing material price lead to higher sports footwear cost that is transferred to terminal retail price by manufacturers , which result in the rise of inland sports footwear this year. Besides, some other factors also add fuel to the fire, such as increasing technology content of inland brand sports footwear and some profound marketing that can make brand effect.
