Polyester filament prices began rallying in China after PTA and MEG prices sharply increased in the past two days. The current reduction in petrochemical production is boosting polyester filament prices that today gained 100 to 400 yuan per ton. Crude oil could however fall in the short term under easing tension between the US and Iran.
