The trade fair is jointly organised by the Federation, the Councils textile branch and the China Garment Association, which will cover textiles, garments, cloth materials and other products
Further it is predicted that the EUs gross national product will grow 5 per cent in the next couple of years, indicating that textile manufacturers will have more opportunities in the region as European Union is the worlds largest textile and garment market and the worlds second largest textile and garment importer.

Further Zhang clarifies that the trade fair is expected to attract excellent Chinese enterprises that can update the European consumers on the latest development of the Chinese textile and garment sector.
The Federation sponsored a similar trade fair in New York in May 2002 after China joined the World Trade Organization.
