Beijing CNCotton: According to General Administration of Customs, February cotton fabrics import totaled 89 mil square meters, down 2.2% from January and 8.5% lower year on year. Export was down 38.6% from January to 303 mil square meters, reflecting a 4% drop from year ago level.
September 2005 through February 2006, cumulative cotton fabrics import reached 760 mil square meters, down 6% from year ago level. Export totaled 2.78 bil square meters, up 8.3% year on year.
