Beijing, CNCotton: Cotton fabrics output increased 21.3% over February to 1.86 bil square meters in March, reflecting a year on year growth of 20.48%.
Shandong remain the top producer, registering 636 mil square meters. Production for Hubei, Hebei and Jiangsu ranged from 175-283 mil, posting a growth of 14.38%, 32% and 15.04% respectively.
January through March, total fabric production amounted to 4.91 bil square meters, 824 mil or 20.1% higher than year ago level.
