In the Silk Alley market of Beijing, one of the most crowded market, vendors sell fake brands openly without any inhibitions.
Though Silk Alley and other major markets of Beijing have signed an agreement with leading brands not to sell fake (like name/brand) products; they still sells fake brands with all impunity at much below prices that the originals are being offered.
While signing the agreement, it was decided that whoever sells fake products or brands will be isolated by the vendors community and appropriate action will be taken once proved for selling fake brands.
In surreptitious markets everything from clothing to electronics are available at a fraction of what original brands charge.
