The data from Zhangjiagang port show that in first quarter, Zhangjiagang free tax zone import 0.072 million ton wool, 6400 ton acrylic, and 32800ton cotton, total sale reaching $78million, 3.4double, 2.2double and 20.5double of import in the same period of last year.
At present, Zhangjiagang have owned over 40 ports with carrying capacity of 10000ton and 29 international services for the freight of over140 harbors from 40 countries and areas. As the only free tax zone with"syncretism of area and harbor", Zhangjiagang offer much business opportunities to textile material importers with its unique function in storage and distribution that not only profit speedy gathering and distribution of freight but also make the business of big-scale deposit & little-bulk distribution.
