It is report that new trouble SA8000standard tap the door of the Zhejiang & Guangdong textile enterprises. For China export manufacture enterprise, this standard is an invisible trade obstacle.
Many international organizations insist that product quality of Textile Company should accord to SA8000 standard established by International Labor Organization. The basic standard is job condition, proper wage and one holiday of the whole workers per week. If manufacture enterprise can not reach these standards, they may loss the order of importers.
It is reported that until now, nearly 200 Xiamen enterprises have not received orders because they have not adopted SA 8000 standard. Addidas and Nike have condemned this problem for they both obey labor law strictly. The experts declaim that it is time for China enterprise to adopt international society obligation standard.
