US will carry out anti-dumping investigation on China textile again

It is known from China Textile Import & Export Chamber of Commerce that US will carry out anti-dumping investigation on China polyester short fine. This is the first case for two countries since <> is signed in November,2005.

The vice-chairman of China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export Textile Cao xinyu show that US International Trade Committee have issued bulletin to carry out anti-dumping investigation on polyester staple. US Commerce Ministry will issue affiche formally recently.

Polyester staple is the material of stuff for sleeping bag, mattess, and ski suit. The period of US's anti-dumping investigation is October.1,2005-May.31,2006 when China export sum reached about $95million, involve 100 enterprises including Ningbo Dafa Chemical Fiber, Yuanfang Shanghai, Zhejiang Cixi Jiangnan Chemical Fiber CO.,Ltd

"This is the first case after Sino-US Textile Agreement is signed" Cao Xinyu said, "It continue US industry safeguard policy as well as means that US textile industry is always considering which measures they can take to restrict Chins Textile export, the anti-dumping investigation on Polyester staple is just a rehearsal."

Some big sized enterprise will struggle for market economy status while other ones can apply for separate tariff.
