At present, China Textile Industry Association award Jiangying city Zhutang town as"China Knitting Fashion Town". It is known that it is the first time for Wuxi to get this laurel since the experiments of textile industry collection is made in 2002.

Aiming to international market, developing from producing relying on foreign business company to self-support import and export, till to carrying out garden strategy, it form a integrated knitting fashion industry chain. At present, there are 528 knitting fashion enterprises in town, the sale of them accounting for over 50% of economy gross, including 10 enterprises with over 50million sale that annually produce over 0.1billion knitting fashion that is distributed to over 60 countries and areas in Occident and Japan. In 2005, the knitting fashion enterprise export break through 0.4billion USD, ranked first among villages and towns of Zhejiang province.
