Occident textile buyers purchase textiles in China

That China suddenly announced the cancellation of export tariffs on 81 categories of textiles seems to be a "dangerous signal" to European interest groups, but to Occident textile buyers, it is certainly a good news.

It is known from Guangzhou Exhibition Center, after signing $50 million contracts with Guangdong vendors, the first Occident textile purchasing group moves to Shaoxing to continue its purchasing trip. Due to the removal of the increasing tariffs, buyers are likely to bring more orders to Chinese textile enterprises.

Guangzhou is the third leg of the purchasing delegation. Earlier, the group had been to Hangzhou and Suzhou.

Although textile trade friction between China and Occident is rising, the textile purchasing trip have remained unaffected.

As trade policy changes, trade s uncertainty increases, but importers think a lot of long-term development. According to the optimistic estimate, the total buying orders are expected to exceed 1.8 billion U.S. dollars.

Besides, buyers attitude is very clear that they don t agree on the restrictions on Chinese textiles. And the abolition of export taxes will maintain the cost advantage of Chinese textile products.
